1. Not everything need to match!
   

It's often thought that matching all interior décor, accessories and design will give a professional design look.

This is a big NO NO! Their needs to be interior design elements that add emphasis to your home and office space. It can be souvenirs from travels or a gift from a dear one.

2. Never under estimate the need for storage.

Many people choose décor over storage. This can work for small families with larger homes or single-person office spaces.

For bigger families, smaller spaces and larger office and work spaces, good storage as important as oxygen! ( Otherwise you will be grasping for an oxygen mask pretty soon when the clutter starts showing...)

3. Keep the curtains open in day light.

Now that's the best thing to use, day light! Nothing better to make your surroundings light up and make your home cozy and work spaces energized!

Natural light is a source of "mood". It makes spaces bigger and furniture more welcoming. Try it, if not yet doing the same.

4. Put the things you love most on show.

Have some beautiful pieces that you keep tucked away so it is never broken?

Well it's never being displayed either! Put the things you love on display. (P.s. don't over do it either, or you will become a hoarder :P)
